Three fire crews were called to Brent Knoll’s Sanders Garden Centre today (Saturday) following a small electrical fire.
The Fire Service received a call at 9.50am to a small fire involving an electrical socket in the Costa Coffee cafe at the garden centre in Bristol Road, Brent Knoll.
“Three fire appliances from Burnham-On-Sea and Bridgwater as well as the Aerial Ladder Platform from Bridgwater were mobilised,” said a spokesman.
“Fire crews confirmed a small fire involving an electrical plug and minor damage to the electrical appliance attached to it which was out on the arrival of the Fire Service.”
“Fire crews made the electrical appliance safe. The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.”
