Burnham’s Marine Cove gardens to host Wizard School fun today!
A day of spellbinding fun will sweep into Burnham-On-Sea’s Marine Cove on Tuesday (August 25th) when it hosts a family-friendly Wizard School!
The Friends of Marine Cove and Sedgemoor District Council’s Community Gardener will be holding the event at the seafront gardens between 11am and 1pm.
“The Wizard School will feature a selection of fun magic and wizard-themed activities, including a wizard hat, treasure hunt, paint your own magic wand and create your own spell book,” said organiser Jacqui Strong.
There will also be a prize for the best-dressed wizard at the event, which will be free of charge (but with a charge for refreshments).
Avon Owls will also be attending the event with a collection of owls – and children will be able to see the birds up close and help raise funds for the charity by having their photo taken with them.
