Berrow artist Malcolm Dormer puts work on show in Burnham-On-Sea

-

A Berrow artist’s colourful and amusing take on the world of art is set to go on display when he holds an exhibition in Burnham-On-Sea, starting this week.

Malcolm Dormer’s colourful animal artwork will go on show at The Princess Theatre’s Art Cafe in Princess Street, Burnham-On-Sea from November 13th for four weeks, from 10.00am-3.00pm each day, except Sundays and Mondays.

Visitors will get a chance to see Malcolm’s unique take on the world, with his paintings of everyday situations with caricatures of animal faces.

Malcolm plans each painting meticulously for many hours, before starting to paint and painting takes between 6-8 weeks to complete.

He is also responsible for painting the murals on several of Berrow’s bus shelters, as we reported here in 2011. Two of his huge masterpieces are also hung in Berrow village hall, being a compendium of Berrow scenes.
