Burnham’s Hillview Carnival Club gets £2,895 boost from VW club and holiday park

-

Burnham-On-Sea’s Hillview Carnival Club has been given a boost by VW enthusiasts at a local holiday park.

The Vee Dub Family Weekender was recently held at Unity Farm in Brean where scores of VW enthusiasts enjoyed a weekend of entertainment.

The proceeds from the event have this week been presented to Hillview Carnival Club towards the costs of this year’s carnival entry.

“We are really delighted to receive this donation of £2,895 from the Vee Dub Family Weekender organisers and also thank Unity Farm and Alan House for all their support,” said Hillview Chairman Duncan Britton.

“It was a great weekend with a superb turnout and we enjoyed the Unity Farm facilities. We look forward to returning in 2020.”

Last year, the event was cancelled after flooding at The Oaktree where it was to be hosted.
