A busy Burnham-On-Sea road has re-opened earlier than expected as essential roadworks were completed ahead of schedule.
Bristol Water caused disruption for motorists on Tuesday by closing Berrow Road for up to four days.
This enabled the company to replace a fire hydrant near the junction with Brightstowe Road.
A spokesperson confirmed today (Wednesday) that the work was completed early to reduce disruption.
