Members of Burnham-On-Sea Rotary Club teamed up with Burnham Army Cadets to pick up litter along a busy road into the town over the weekend.
Community-spirited members of the two groups spent Sunday morning clearing Queen’s Drive and the Frank Foley Way of rubbish.
“Over 12 black bags were filled with everything from vodka bottles to plastic sheeting,” said a spokesman.
The two groups team up together to perform the clean-up every year at this time.
