Four
arrests as Burnham-On-Sea police probe town centre murder

Four
people have been arrested following the discovery of a man's body
in a Burnham-On-Sea town centre flat earlier this morning (Thursday,
December 24th).
As
first reported by Burnham-On-Sea.com, scores of police descended
on Abingdon Street at 9am, as pictured, after the body of a man
in his 20s was found.
Police
taped off an area at the front of the Second Image tattoo shop
as their investigations got underway.
Inspector
Roger Tolley of Burnham Police told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "I
can confirm that four local people have been arrested in connection
with the incident."
He
added: "The body of a man in his 20s was found in a flat
in Abingdon Street this morning."
"We
cannot confirm how the man died until the post mortem has been
carried out, however I would add that we are treating this incident
very seriously."
A
23 year-old man and a 27 year-old woman have been arrested on
suspicion of murder, while a 21 year-old woman and a 25 year-old
man were arrested on suspicion of aiding an offender.
Abingdon
Street re-opened to traffic almost twelve hours after the incident
first unfolded.
