Highbridge
groups celebrate £2,250 council cash windfalls

Two
Highbridge Youth Groups are celebrating this week after getting
a much needed cash boost.
County
Councillor John Woodman visited the Highbridge Dreamscheme and
Highbridge Community Youth Club, presenting cheques to both groups
to enable them to continue providing youth diversion activities
in the town.
Founder
of the Highbridge Community Youth Club, PCSO Gill Bawler, told
Burnham-On-Sea.com: "We would like to thank Councillor Woodman
for his support and will use the funds to pay the insurance for
another year."
"The
youth club is a well used and much needed facility in the town,
with over 50 young people on the register attending on a regular
basis. Any support from the community, partners and local businesses
is greatly appreciated."
Dreamscheme
received £2,000 and the youth club received £250.
