Pensioner
hurt in car park accident at Highbridge Medical Centre

A
pensioner was taken to hospital with leg injuries following an
accident in a car park in Highbridge on Tuesday morning (July
3rd).
Police
and ambulance crews were called to Highbridge Medical Centre in
Pepperall Road at 9.08am after a blue vehicle was in collision
with an elderly lady.
"The
lady, who is in her 80s, was hit by the car in the parking area
and was taken to hospital," police spokesman Wayne Baker
confirmed to Burnham-On-Sea.com.
Police
sealed off part of the car park for the morning whilst an investigation
got underway.
An
ambulance spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com that the lady had
been taken to Weston General Hospital with leg injuries.
