"This has become a real tradition within the Highbridge
and Burnham area - our group has been doing this for approximately
25 years although no one is certain about the actual dates - it
may be even longer!"
"The collection boxes are out in various shops and locations
across Burnham, Highbridge, Pawlet, East & West Huntsill and
Berrow. Cards can be put into the box with money (20p per card)
between now and Friday 19th December. All will be delivered by
Christmas Day by our group members, parents, committee and other

last year we raised £1,000 and we hope to top that this
year. Every penny raised goes into the group funds which enables
us to heat and carry out general maintenance to our headquarters
in Coronation Road, Highbridge and to maintain and replace essential
