50-year-old man has been charged following the murder of a woman
in Glastonbury and a dramatic car crash near Burnham-On-Sea last

13 miles away in the village of Mark, near Burnham-On-Sea, pictured
here, where a car which had been seen leaving the house had
man inside had to be cut free from the wreckage and was transferred
to hospital. Police confirmed a 50-year-old man had been arrested
in connection with the death at the house.
Inspector Lorna Dallimore said: "Our sympathies are with
the family at this distressing time and a specially-trained officer
is giving them support."
