Burnham-On-Sea tourist manager seeks to avoid event clashes

-

Event organisers in Burnham-On-Sea are being urged to contact the town’s tourist information centre to avoid clashes of events during 2013.

Ian Jefferies, who recently became Tourism Manager at the seafront centre, is compiling a list of public events in the town.

“We are hoping to collate all the events in the surrounding area into one online diary to try and ensure that not too many events clash,” he told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“The idea is to reduce the problems we have had in the past where no events have been held for several weekends and then three or four are held on the same day.”

“If you are planning a public event in 2013 please contact me by email here to check what other events are being held on the proposed date or drop the details into BIARS on the seafront, marked for the attention of Ian.”
