An air ambulance and paramedics were sadly unable to save the life of a person who suffered a heart attack in Berrow at the weekend.

A Great Western Air Ambulance landed on Berrow Green on Sunday afternoon at 2.30pm, as pictured here.

A Great Western Air Ambulance spokeswoman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The incident was a cardiac arrest and the patient wasn’t airlifted to hospital.”

“We sent two critical care doctors and a critical care paramedic. Our best wishes go out to the patient’s family.”
