Burnham-On-Sea runner training for London Marathon challenge

-

A Burnham-On-Sea fundraiser will be pulling on his running shoes to take part in the London Marathon in April.

Colan Walker is currently in training for the 26.2 mile run around the capital, which takes place on April 24th 2016.

“I am running for Breast Cancer Now as I believe it’s a fantastic charity and certainly needs all the help it can get,” he told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“At the moment I’m running up to about 25-30 miles a week in training in all weathers, including winds, gales, rain and sleet – but whatever it takes I will do this in between my job and looking after my two children.”

“It would help enormously for any help in donations and pledges – I need to raise at least £1,700 but any more would be fantastic, all for a great cause, so please support me.”
