£1.8m Brean Splash expansion and new play centre will create 15 jobs

-

Brean Leisure Park is investing £1.8 million in developing a new children’s indoor play centre and extending Brean Splash waterpark.

The major development, which is set to open later this year, will create up to 15 new permanent jobs.

The new indoor soft play centre – to be called Brean Play – will feature a large indoor children’s play area with three designated areas suitable for children from 0-11 years old.

“This facility will be open all year and will create up to 15 new permanent jobs. Brean play will also feature a large café with a spectating area and five party rooms on the mezzanine level,” the park’s Kieran Spottiswoode told Burnham-On-Sea.com this week.

The extension of Brean Splash will also see the addition of a shallow fun pool and a number of new water-slides and features for children. The area will create an additional fun element to what is currently on offer at Brean Splash.

Keiran said building work is progressing well, as pictured below. “The construction of the building is progressing well – all the steel work is up and the roof and side panels will be going up shortly.”
