Emergency services from Burnham-On-Sea were called to a car on its roof in a ditch on Monday evening (December 29th).
Fire crews and police were called to Brean Road in Lympsham at 8pm.
Two fire appliances from Burnham-On-Sea plus a rescue tender from Glastonbury attended amid initial concerns that a person was trapped inside the vehicle.
Crews used water safey equipment to search the vehicle, and found no-one inside.
A check of the area surrounding the car using a thermal imaging camera was also completed.
