Burnham-On-Sea theatre starts season of childrens shows on Saturday

-

A season of great children’s entertainment gets underway at Burnham-On-Sea’s Princess Theatre this weekend.

First on the menu this Saturday (October 17th) is Science Mania, a crazy introduction to mad cap science designed to give younger minds an insight into just how exciting science can be.

For young scientists and old professors alike with plenty of loud noises, flashing lights and cheese sandwiches. It will be held this Saturday (October 17th) at 3pm with tickets £10/concessions £6.

The classic Hans Christian Andersen tale, Tinderbox, will then be given a new twist by the award winning AsOne theatre company. A war-torn soldier and an obstinate princess learn the unbreakable bonds of true love on Thursday October 29th at 2.30pm.

The entertainment will continue with Into the Woods Jnr with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, a wonderful production by the BEES junior cast on Saturday November 21st and Sunday November 22nd at 3pm.

Finally, Santa’s Christmas Cracker brings Dotty the Elf and Pompom the Penguin in a festive, interactive, song-filled visit to Santa’s home, that helps them discover the meaning of Christmas. It will be held on Tuesday December 15th at 10.30am and 1pm
