More than 50 people have signed up to join a fundraising beach walk between Brean to Burnham-On-Sea.

The Brean 14 comprises of a 14km sponsored walk, run or cycle on Sunday (28th October) in aid of East Huntspill’s wildlife charity Secret World.

“We would like to encourage our supporters – both existing and new – to take part in this sponsored event to help us raise funds,” said Debbie Branfield, Events Fundraising Coordinator.

The event will start at 10.30am from Brean’s Warren Farm Holiday Park and go as far as Burnham Lighthouse and back, covering an area of approximatey 14km. A shorter walk of 6km for the less able and families will also be held. Registration forms are available to download here.

“Why not take part dressed in your favourite Haloween fancy dress and our judges will be on hand to award prizes to the best costumes,” added Debbie.
