Brean-based radio station Coast Radio is set to begin a second summer of transmissions in mid-June ahead of its full launch in August.
Owner Josh Haywood (pictured) told Burnham-On-Sea.com this week that the station will start internet transmissions on June 14th, with full broadcasts on 105 FM commencing for one month from August 1st.
He added: “There’s a small chance we may have to change our frequency, but we’re still in discussions with Ofcom, the radio regulator, about this.”
“I hope we can stay on 105 FM, having heavily promoted this frequency over the last year.”
He also said that auditions for budding DJs will be held at the station’s studios in Brean during the next few weeks.
