Ribbon-cutting ceremony held for opening of Highbridge leisure store

Burnham’s Mayor and Mayoress opened a new shop selling outdoor leisure equipment in Highbridge on Friday morning (March 5th).

Derek and Christine Cooper were the special guests at the launch of the new Outdoor Leisure Store at Highbridge Caravan Centre on the A38 Bristol Road.

Watched by more than 70 staff, the Mayor cut a ribbon at the front of the centre during a short ceremony, as pictured here.

Philip Davies, General Manager, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We were delighted to have the Mayor and Mayoress along to the open the new shop during our 45th anniversary year.”

“The new store sells a wide range of camping, caravan and outdoor leisure accessories.”
