Thousands of people lined Burnham’s seafront on Sunday evening (November 7th) to watch the town’s spectacular fireworks display.

Large numbers of people filled The Esplanade and neighbouring streets to watch the sparking 23-minute display, which was fired from a special platform on the town’s jetty.

Over 800 shots soared into the air above the beach, accompanied by upbeat  modern tunes.

Mayor Cllr Mike Facey, pictured below with Deputy Mayor Cllr Andy Hodge, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “It was a fantastic display and it was great to see such large crowds enjoying it. The weather stayed dry and the wind was not an issue.”

“The Town Council thanks Skyburst, plus the charity collectors from the Rotary Club and the cadet groups, all the marshalls, and the sponsors who were Burnham-On-Sea.com, Home Farm holiday park, the Taste of the Orient Chinese restaurant, Barrington & Sons solicitors, plus financial advisors Positive Wealth Creation.”
