Police and ambulance crews were called to the High Street at 10.50am, as pictured, after a woman was involved in a collision with a passing car.
Police spokeswoman Claire Stanley told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We were called to a road traffic collision between a car and a pedestrian on the High Street in Burnham. A woman was taken to hospital but she was not seriously injured.”
An ambulance spokesman added the patient had been taken to Weston General Hospital.
