Vehicle
seized by Burnham police during ongoing car crime crackdown
One
person was arrested and a vehicle was seized during an incident
in Highbridge Road, Burnham-On-Sea, on Friday evening (February
16th).
The
car was impounded after it was found to have no tax, insurance
or MOT.
Sgt
Julian Brandon of Burnham Police told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "The
vehicle was pulled over near the Lighthouse Inn on suspicion of
having no documents and this proved to be correct."
"One
male passenger was arrested in connection with a separate, minor
traffic offence and the driver has been reported for summons."
This
latest vehicle seizure comes as part of Avon and Somerset Constabulary's
ongoing 'Operation Relentless' initiative to tackle vehicle crime.
