Archery
experts hit charity fundriaising target at Berrow event

Archery
experts from across the South West converged on Berrow at the
weekend when a local group held a fundraising tournament.
The
Coastal Archers hosted the annual Jellybow Challenge, with all
profits going to the Children's Hospice charity at Wraxall.
Among
the groups taking part in Saturday's event were Wellington Bowmen,
Bowmen of Mendip, Puriton Gold, and Bristol and Golden Phoenix
Archers plus local competitors from the Coastal Archers.
A
total of £170 was raised for the hospice, much to the delight
of organisers.
"Everyone
had to wear something red and cheating was allowed in this tournament,
some of which was quite outrageous! So long as it made everyone
laugh, no-one minded," one of the organisers told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
Anyone
interested in archery can find out more about beginners sessions
at the club's website here.
