fire crews tackle barn blaze near Bridgwater

Fire
crews from Burnham-On-Sea have been tackling a big barn blaze
in Chedzoy in the early hours of this morning (Saturday September
13th).
The
blaze at Sibleys Farm in Chedzoy first broke out at 2.30am and
was still well alight at 8am, as pictured here.
Crew
commander Kevin Helyar, pictured, told Burnham-On-Sea.com the
cause of the fire was unknown. He said the barn, measuring 30x20
metres, contained 300 bales of straw.
Five
fire appliances from Burnham, Bridgwater and Taunton had been
sent to the scene, along with a water carrier and command support
unit.
Two
fire crews from Martock and Nether Stowey attended the scene later
in the morning to further help at the scene.
