Police arrest two cold
callers without pedlar's certificates at Berrow
Police
in Burnham-On-Sea have applauded the quick-thinking action of
residents at Berrow which resulted in the arrest of two people.
They
alerted police to two cold callers in the area, whom officers
arrested later charged for operating without pedlar's certificates.
The
incident took place in Julians Acres in Berrow on Monday afternoon
(March 17th).
Lloyd
Hudson, aged 27 and Paul Parkes, aged 20, both from Nottingham
were both charged to appear at Sedgemoor Magistrates Court on
April 1st.
They
have been charged with acting as a pedlar without a pedlar's certificate
under the Pedlar's Act 1871.
