Expanding
Burnham-On-Sea estate agent moves onto High Street
An
expanding Burnham-On-Sea estate agent is set to move into a High
Street property in the coming week.
Saxons,
currently based in Abingdon Street, is moving into the vacant
building pictured here on the corner of the High Street and Victoria
Street.
David
Jagger, owner of Saxons, said the move has been planned for several
months and should be completed by Wednesday (June 18th).
"This
is a landmark building in a prominent position in Burnham. It's
at the commercial end of town and will allow us to quadruple our
window space," he told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
Despite
a downturn in the house market, he added that he believes now
is the right time for the company to be expanding.
"It
is a big investment at a time when the property market is tough,
but we're working harder than ever to match buyers and sellers
and so don't think cutting back is the right strategy," he
explained.
He
added that the company also has further expansion planned for
the area.
