Burnham
and Highbridge town band entertains crowd at charity concert
Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge's Town Band was in top form at a
charity concert in the town's Manor Gardens on Sunday afternoon
(June 15th).
Despite
some light rain during the afternoon, the outdoor event still
attracted over 200 people and was expected to have raised several
hundred pounds for St Margaret's Hospice.
A crowd of over 100 people, some enjoying picnics on the lawns,
enjoyed a line-up of traditional tunes. The town band is next
in action on June 29th at 7.45pm in The Princess Hall.
