In photos: Burnham-On-Sea Christmas lights competition ceremony

Residents and businesses in Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge who won the towns' annual Christmas lights competition have been presented with their awards this week.

Mayor Peter Burridge-Clayton, town councillor Dennis Davey and Cllr Pat Burge handed over the certificates at the council chambers in Jaycroft Road. Click here to see the winning light displays.

The best decorated businesses in the two towns were Highbridge DIY and Flowers and Things, whose owners pictured here collected their awards.

Ms Cornish collected the award for second best home in Burnham from the Mayor and Cllr Pat Burge

The Brown and Francis families were presented with their awards by the Mayor and Cllr Pat Burge.

Members of the Gardner family, whose home in Trinity Rise attracted national media attention, were presented with their certificate.
