Large numbers of country and western music fans are in Brean for the resort’s annual Country Music Festival, which started on Thursday (September 24th).
The festival runs until Sunday 4th October and, as in previous years, top names in country music are performing in pubs and bars across the village.
This year, there are more than 40 different acts over the 10 day period.
Alan House, director of Brean Leisure Park, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The country and western festival continues to grow year on year and this year sees our biggest-ever line up of entertainment.”

Country fans will be pulling one of Burnham-On-Sea’s rescue hovercrafts through the resort on Sunday as part of an annual charity fundraiser to raise cash for BARB.
