Cyclist
injured in Burnham-On-Sea town centre accident

A
cyclist suffered suspected collarbone injuries after being knocked
off her bike at a busy Burnham-On-Sea roundabout on Sunday evening
(November 1st).
Police
and ambulance crews rushed to the Esso petrol station roundabout
next to the junction of Love Lane and Oxford Street at 7.05pm,
as pictured here.
A
middle-aged woman was treated at the scene before being taken
to hospital. The road junction was not fully closed during the
accident, but police directed traffic around the scene.
Police
spokesman Simon Whitby confirmed to Burnham-On-Sea.com: "Police
were called to Love Lane at 7.05pm after a lady was knocked off
her bike by a Volvo."
