A 30 year-old man has been arrested by police in Highbridge after a fight involving a knife.
Three teams of police officers and an ambulance crew were called to Market Street on Thursday evening (July 30th) after reports of an altercation.
Police spokesman Steve Game confirmed to Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Police were called to Market Street, opposite the One Stop Shop, at 7.45pm.”
“It followed reports of an alteraction between two males, one of whom had been threatened with a knife.”
A 30-year-old man was arrested on public order offences in nearby Church Street and was taken to Bridgwater Police Station for questioning.
