Burnham-On-Sea's Mayor and Mayoress welcome German visitors

Burnham-On-Sea's Mayor and Mayoress welcomed a group of German exchange students to Highbridge's King Alfred School on Monday (June 29th).

The popular exchange with Homberg in Germany has been successfully running for over twelve years.

The students are taking part in a busy itinerary of events and on Monday they visited Burnham's Town Council Chambers where they met Mayor Derek Cooper and Mayoress Christine Cooper.

The visiting group includes German teachers Burkhard Frisch and Alice Schneider along with fourteen German students.
