Young
scientists from Highbridge go on voyage of discovery

Students
from King Alfred School in Highbridge have been on a journey of
scientific discovery to the Science Museum in London.
Thirty pupils from the 'After School Science and Engineering
Club' visited the museum to see a range of exhibitions and take
part in interactive displays.
One of the highlights was witnessing the effect of very low temperature
liquid nitrogen on the properties of common items such
as a banana made tough enough to hammer a large nail into a block
of wood.
