International rugby player is VIP guest at school's sports ceremony

England international rugby player Danielle Waterman was the special guest at this year's annual sports presentation evening at Highbridge's King Alfred School.

"Danielle opened the proceedings, talking about her experience and triumphs as an international rugby player before going on to present our students with their awards," school spokeswoman Cerrie Williams told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

"We had over 140 students receiving awards on the evening for most significant improvement, outstanding performance or dedication and outstanding contribution to their sport."
