Burnham-On-Sea Moose Lodge member
notches up 50 years' service
A
long-serving member of Burnham-On-Sea's Moose Lodge has been presented
with a scroll of honour to mark his half a century of membership.
Brian
Saunders was presented with a special scroll of honour by Moose
Grand Governor Trevor Savage this week to celebrate his 50 years'
membership in the Loyal Order of the Moose.
The
presentation was made at the group's latest meeting in Berrow.
It
comes after Brian was also presented with a Long Service Diamond
Bar award from the National Opera and Dramatic Association (NODA)
for 60 years' service to amateur theatre.
The
certificate was presented by NODA's Regional Councillor Mrs Geraldine
Branton after Friday's performance of South Pacific at
the Playhouse Thatre in Weston.
Moose
International is a fraternal organisation based on family values
that raises money for local and national charities, and provides
supports for each other.
The
lodge meets on the fourth Thursday of each calender month at 7.30pm
in Berrow Village Hall.
