In photos: Fancy dress comes
out for Burnham group's New Year party
Colourful
costumes with a movie theme were worn by fun-loving members of
Burnham-On-Sea's Moose International group on
Saturday (January 10th) when they celebrated
the start of 2009 with a fancy dress New Year party.
The
event, which was overseen by the
group's Governor Terry Cornelius, attracted a big crowd of members
to Berrow
Village Hall.
"The
event was attended by all manner of 'stars', from Cleopatra to
Superman, and the lively party entertainment provided by talented
guitarist and vocalist Gary French ensured
everybody enjoyed themselves," Mr
Cornelius told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
