Burnham-On-Sea
RNLI fundraiser recognised for her dedication
A
Burnham-On-Sea lifeboat fundraiser has been recognised for her
dedication.
Jan
Pearce, Treasurer and Acting Chairman of the Burnham-On-Sea and
Highbridge RNLI Fundraising Branch, was presented with a Silver
Award for Fundraising by Admiral Lord Boyce.
After
a tour of the RNLI's multi-million pound lifeboat college in Poole,
she was presented with her award during the South West regional
award ceremony.
Jan was among over 100 RNLI volunteers to be presented with awards
during the day.
She
told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "I enjoyed my memorable day. The
tour of the college was fascinating and it was wonderful to meet
so many other people from across the South West. It was truly
a great honour to receive this award."
