School child left shocked after being
struck by passing car
A
young boy was treated for shock after being hit by a passing vehicle
outside a Highbridge school on Friday (May 15th).
Police
and two ambulance crews were called to Burnham Road at 3.24pm,
where the incident occurred outside St John's School as the children
ended the day's classes.
Police
spokesman Wayne Baker confirmed to Burnham-On-Sea.com: "A
boy aged around nine was involved in a minor collision with a
passing vehicle."
"An
ambulance was called and the boy was taken to Weston General Hospital
as a precaution."
