Burnham-On-Sea bursts into
colour as signs of spring arrive

Just
three weeks after Burnham-On-Sea was shivering under several inches
of snow, the first signs of spring are bursting into colour across
the town.
These
colourful blooms were spotted next to the car park at Apex Wildlife
Park on Monday (March 2nd).
Daffodils
are starting to open up and crocuses are pushing through the grass
in several places.
The
scenes are in stark contrast to the wintry
weather in February, which left gardeners across the Burnham
area fearing a late spring. There is a risk of further wintry
showers during the middle of this week.
