In photos: Mayor supports Highbridge's St John's School Sports Day

Burnham-On-Sea's Mayor and Mayoress were among the spectators at the annual St John's School Sports Day in Highbridge.

Derek and Christine Cooper cheered on the youngsters at the popular summer event, where the budding stars-of-the-future competed in a range of events.

This year's contests included sack races, egg-and-spoon races, hockey and running events, as pictured here.
