Plans
for 17 new homes in Burnham-On-Sea win approval
Supermarket
giant Tesco has this week been given a green light to build 17
new homes on land at the western end of its Burnham-On-Sea store
in Love Lane.
The
company's planning application was considered by Sedgemoor District
Council's development control committee on Tuesday (February 10th)
when the scheme was given a green light to proceed. Tesco's plans
for the new homes were first reported by Burnham-On-Sea.com last
July.
The
new homes will be built at the rear of the Rosewood Inn in Love
Lane on land running to the back of existing homes in Ashcott
Place, as shown below. The new homes also complement the supermarket's
store expansion, which also got approval December.
