Bed push fundraisers set off on 10 mile trek from Burnham

A group of hardy fundraisers took part in a sponsored bed push from Burnham-On-Sea on Monday (August 30th) to raise money for a local charity.

The St Margaret's Hospice team started from Burnham-On-Sea Pier mid-morning, as pictured here, before pushing their double bed down the seafront.

They then went along Marine Drive and through Highbridge on their journey to the White Hart Inn in Chilton Polden - a distance of more than 10 miles.

Collection buckets were rattling along the route and the team made refreshment stops at various pubs along the route.
