for new car wash firm in Burnham-On-Sea rejected

the proposals were rejected at this week's meeting of Sedgemoor
District Council's development control committee amid concern
the operation would have disturbed nearby residents.
council spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "By reason of
the siting of the valeting service in such close proximity to
the neighbouring residents, the proposed development would result
in an unacceptable level of noise and disturbance which would
be detrimental to the amenity enjoyed by neighbouring residents."
