Former King Alfred School students gather for big reunion

-

Dozens of former pupils from Highbridge’s King Alfred School have gathered together for a special reunion.

The class of 1982-1987 met at Michael’s Fun Pub in Burnham on Thursday (July 1st) for an evening of old memories and meeting fomer pals.

Organiser Tricia Allen told Burnham-On-Sea.com that event was enjoyed by everyone.

“All the former students are heading towards their 40th birthdays from September onwards, so it was a suitable time to join together for a reunion,” she said.

“It was unfortunate that classmates living abroad and some others were unable to attend. We remembered Martin Rands, Martin Dire and Ben Dormer, who have sadly passed away since leaving school.”
