Youngsters get hooked on angling at park's Learn To Fish Day

Scores of youngsters turned up to try their hand at angling during a Learn To Fish Day at Apex Wildlife Park in Highbridge on Sunday (August 1st).

The event, organised by the Evironment Agency, was supported by five experienced anglers, headed up by Gary Taroni, a member of the Professional Anglers' Association.

During the free learning sessions, the youngsters were given free leaflets and advice on how to improve their catches. A wide range of fish were reeled in during the day-long event.
