Police announce Burnham and Highbridge PACT meetings

-

Burnham and Highbridge residents will be able to have their say about policing in the towns when quarterly Partners and Communities Together (PACT) meetings are held over the next few days.

PACT meetings give residents a chance to influence what issues are tackled in the area.

The Highbridge PACT meeting will be held this Thursday (July 22nd) at 7.30pm in the St John Ambulance Hall in Bank Street Car Park.

And Burnham-On-Sea’s PACT meeting will be held on Wednesday 28th July at 7.00pm in The Old Courthouse, Jaycroft Road.

Drugs use and vandalism were the top two priorities set by residents at the last Highbridge meeting in April and updates will be given on progress in reducing the issues.

A police spokeswoman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Please support us in this by taking the time to speak to us about community concerns, their causes and possible solutions. It is only by all working together that we can make a difference.”
