Man
suffers leg injuries after recycling centre accident
A
man suffered leg injuries after a two car collision in Highbridge
on Tuesday afternoon (August 31st).
During
a busy afternoon for Burnham-On-Sea's emergency services, fire
and ambulance crews were called to the 'minor' two car accident
at the Viridor recycling centre in Bennett Road, pictured
here.
Two Rovers had collided with each other, leaving one person with
minor injuries.
Ambulance
spokesman Dave Rogers told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "A male in
his 60s injuries was taken to hospital by ambulance with leg injuries
following an accident involving two vehicles."
Earlier
in the afternoon, Burnham's Marine Drive was shut for two hours
after a car and bus collided next to the roundabout - as first
reported here.
