A free event for children aged between 7-12 years who enjoy sketching and painting will be held at Apex Park in Marine Drive this Saturday (May 22nd) between 10am and 12 noon.
The sketching and painting workshop will be run by Burnham artist Margaret Micklewright who will help the group to sketch in several locations.
The group will meet at the Apex Park Information Point in the main car park and the children will be able to use their sketches to make paintings to take home.
Refreshments will be provided but places are limited. To reserve a place, call Marina Turner at Sedgemoor District Council on 01278 435512 to confirm attendance.
The free event is being funded by the Somerset Community Foundation who granted £2,615 to the Friends of Apex Park Improvements Group so that events and workshops can take place until June 2010.
