Police appeal for witnesses after assault in Burnham-On-Sea

Police in Burnham-On-Sea have today (Wednesday) appealed for witnesses and information after an assault in the town centre at the weekend.

At around 2.40am on Saturday September 10th a man was walking along Princess Street when he was struck on the face by an unknown man.

The victim received injuries to his face which have since required medical treatment.

“Officers investigating the incident are aware others were present and would appeal for anyone who witnessed this assault to come forward,” a police spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“Police are keen to speak to a man who is described as white, in his mid 20’s, around 5ft 11 inches tall and of a slim build.”

“He had short fair hair and was wearing a white long sleeved shirt.”
